We had a fun time taking JD trick or treating for the first time Halloween night. He did absolutely fabulous, and caught on pretty quickly! This is how the night went. Whenever we'd ring the doorbell, JD would continue to knock on the door until the person appeared. If the person squatted down to his level to give him candy, JD would reach for the bowl and pick the one that he "liked" best. He was so stinkin' cute! We realized after the first door we went to that we should've taught him to say "trick or treat" long before Halloween came around. Oh well. We were out for about 30 minutes before JD started getting tired. He was a trooper, and we had a blast! Can't wait to do it again next year.

Yes, even we dressed up. Some lady thought I was a trick or treater and was wondering why I wasn't coming up to get candy at one point...
