Last weekend we headed down to L.A. and had a busy 3 days. We arrived Thursday night and didn't get to our hotel in Anaheim until 1:30am, and woke up the next day bright and early to head over to Disneyland at 8am. We had a lot of fun and we were pretty productive with how we spent the day. JD loved it and we were surprised as to how long JD wore his Mickey Mouse hat. Of course, he didn't wear it for the remainder of the day, but he wore it for the transit over to the park from the parking lot. Observe.
We said hi to Mater...
Red, and apparently the kiddos saw Lightening, but before they were able to get up there and take a picture with him, he had switched places with Mater.
JD doesn't know Toy Story yet, but Dean-O was a big fan.
They were buddies during the trip, and had fun sharing snacks together.
Waiting in line for the Haunted Mansion. He was a champ through the entire ride.
Although it may not appear it in the picture, JD was very excited to see Mickey! And gave him a high-five!
And that concluded our night at Disneyland.
The next day we headed over to the fashion district and the boys were once again best buds. JD just recently learned how to say "cheese" as you may or may not notice in this picture.
Hugs for Maggie.
"Cheese" once again, while eating McDonalds.
While Sean and Rachel went to a Stake Conference meeting thing, Justin and I had a quick date night while Grammy and Gramps watched the kiddos. It was nice to get out, and it was a beautiful night out at Santa Monica Pier.
Before we left for home Sunday morning, we headed over to say Hi to Grandma and Grandpa Miller. It was a great way to end our trip in L.A.
