Let Them Eat Cake!

I've always had a passion for cake decorating ever since I was twelve or thirteen years old, and since I've been watching so many cake shows on the Food network, I've been inspired by cake artists to try my hand at it again. Since my last attempt at cake decorating, I learned the basics--easy stuff. This time, I expanded my horizons and tried something a little harder... (not by much though). Observe:



As you can see, not very pretty. But I got the coloring thing of the frosting down. ;p

Last but not least, the homemade pastry bags used to decorate my fabulous cupcakes... thus the cause of the ugliness in the decorating (or I just need more practice. I'd say both!)

Although these cakes were not pretty, they were definitely scrumptious, and when it comes down to it, that's all the matters!
