At 1 week old, Danny still continues to be perfect. He sleeps all night
with feedings in between, and is a great eater! I'd be surprised if
Danny doesn't pass JD up in height and weight. The sad part about
Danny's first week is that his daddy had to go to his next phase of
training and only got to be with his dad for a total of 6 days. I know
Justin had a harder time leaving us, but we're just grateful he's only 2
1/2 hours away and we'll eventually be able to visit him on weekends,
and then finally move down to Monterey and be a family again! Danny had
his first doctor's appointment and the doctor said he's doing great! He
lost 3 oz when we left the hospital, but went back up to his birth
weight and grew half an inch. My parents said they saw him smile while
he was sleeping in his first week, but I had yet to witness it.
