1 More Week!

That's right! One more week until I am finally reunited with my family again. It has definitely been a struggle for everyone, however, it has made me appreciate my family so much more after going through this experience.

The last 2 weeks without JD have been tough, but I've somehow managed to get through it. I'm more bored than I would be if JD or Justin were around, and it gets a little lonely sometimes. As much as I love having all this time to myself, I don't always know what to do with it anymore. I haven't been "single" in a few years. On top of that, I feel far less productive. When JD was around, I knew that I only had small windows of opportunities to get things done. He was my motivator, and now that he isn't around, I kind of a procrastinate a little bit more.

So, what has JD been up to lately? Well, first things first, he got pink eye last week, and apparently he got it pretty bad. Fortunately, Jeff and Tammy had some antibiotics available, and it's been doing it's job. He is finally at a point where he is doing much better and back to his normal self. I feel awful for Tammy, since she's the one who's with him the most (Thanks Tammy!!!) The only plus to this was, JD was around people who knew what they were doing.

JD is walking around whenever he gets the opportunity! He usually needs some assistance from nearby furniture to help him get on his feet. Then, when he feels like it, he will take off and start walking. I'm sad I'm missing all the action, but at least I was around to see him start to walk (sorry Justin). Now all that's left for him to do is to try and get on his feet without any assistance!

I'm looking forward to seeing my boys again next Saturday! Then we will (hopefully) never have to be apart again!
