So, I had to write a few poems for my English class, and I really liked one I wrote, and decided to share it with all of you. It is dedicated to my lovely husband. Enjoy!
I Married a Man Who’s Obsessed Sports
I fear I’ve made a mistake, my dear.
A little glitch, my heart did miss
But yet, my eyes were blind with love
I said yes, and we did wed.
This little glitch I seemed to miss
Has caught me by surprise you see,
Your love for sports has driven me
To loathe all sports, more than before
A sport for every season, oy vey!
How I dread each game that comes.
Your love for sports will never fade.
I guess I have no choice.
I must learn to love each game, the way I love
The man I married, who’s obsessed with sports.
P.S. It's obvious I'm no poet, so don't judge too harshly.
