Let's Go Sharks!

I'm not sure how, but Justin convinced me a few weeks ago to see a Shark's game with him. So on Wednesday, we had quite the adventure. We headed down to San Jose after Justin's class, ticket less mind you, and kept checking on his phone on craigslist for tickets. When we arrived at the HP Pavilion (where the Sharks play), we still had no tickets at hand, and no food in our bellies. We were a block away from the Pavilion, and 5 blocks or more away from food.

It seemed like we were walking forever to get to a decent place to eat, mainly because it was quite chilly, and we were lost. Finally, after about half an hour (maybe more), we found a diner type restaurant, and 10 minutes after we had sat down to eat, Justin found tickets. However, he was having problems paying for the ticket.

Reason number 1: Justin's phone wasn't allowing him to pay quickly online.
Reason number 2: His phone had died on us.
Reason number 3: Even with the assistance from family members, paypal was not submitting the transaction.

Finally, after an hour of trying to work these glitches out, the man we were buying from came down from Alameda to San Jose. After 50 minutes of waiting, we had the tickets, missed the opening part of the game, and were in our seats and saw the actual game start. It was surprisingly a lot of fun, even though I had no idea what was going on. I only knew the gist of the game. It was a great game! They were tied by the end of the last period, and went into over time.

The only disappointments I have about the game is, the Sharks lost within a minute and a half into over time, and there wasn't a single fight! The first time I actually sat down to watch a game on TV, there was a fight! Quite disappointing that I didn't get to see one at this game. Hopefully, the next time we go, there will be a fight! I'd totally go again!

Go Sharks!
