Only in Idaho
Ok, maybe not only in Idaho, but have you ever seen a deal like this before?: 88 Cents for a 10lb bag of potatoes!!! I don't think I have ever seen such a steal before in my life. The only thing is... now that we have a bunch of potatoes, I have to come up with different ways to incorporate potatoes into our meals. Good thing there's plenty of ways to make potatoes. :)

Adventures in the Snow
Yesterday, about 2 to 3 inches of snow accumulated, and completely covered the roads. It's been a bit scarier to drive on now that the roads have pretty much become ice. Today, for instance, we fish tailed as we were turning and hit a curb. Luckily, we were going so slow it didn't do any damage to us, however, the bumper on Just's car came off a little, but he managed to fit it back into place, and there it stayed. From that point on, every time we made a turn I was holding on to the edge of my seat, hoping we weren't going to crash again. Fortunately, we didn't hit anymore curbs, or cars for the matter.
With all this snow, however, Justin had the crazy idea of going out and taking a walk last night. We put our snow gear on and messed around in the freshly powdered snow for a little, and then went on our walk. The wind was awful last night though, and since our faces were the only things exposed, they were pretty pink by the time we returned home. Here's some pictures of the snow and last night's little adventure... (sort of).

I'm sure there will be more adventures in the snow to come....

The Burg...
Well, Summer is officially over here in Rexburg. I do not welcome the snow happily, especially since we'll be seeing plenty of it for the next 9 months or so. It's sad to think that yesterday was actually a pretty nice day. It wasn't sunny, but it wasn't cold, and neither was there snow on the ground. It went from no snow to this:
Being this is my first winter with a car in Rexburg, I was able to have my first "driving in the snow" experience. It wasn't as horrible as I thought it was going to be, but I was pretty scared. I made it to my destination and back safely without loosing control of the car, and was grateful for that! I may have missed this school... but I did not miss the snow. Oh well, I'm stuck now! :)
