LA Weekend

A couple weekends ago, when Justin had a weekend off, we went down to LA to visit Justin's side of the family. The main reason for this trip was to visit his grandma, along with Sean & Rachel and their family.

The beginning of our trip started with us dropping JD off with Grammy and Gramps so they could take him down to LA with them, since we were going to one of Justin's good friend's wedding reception. We didn't leave the Bay Area until 9:30, and got into Simi Valley at around 2:30am...

We started our Saturday off by visiting Grandma Miller...

The boys were in the back throwing rocks into the little pond in the patio area. It was a nice little visit, and a beautiful day.

Afterwards, we headed out to the beach, and JD loved the water, while the rest of us relaxed. JD was pretty attached to Grammy and Gramps after that, and wanted to ride in their car for the rest of the day.

After the beach, we headed to a fancy little restaurant with a beautiful view to celebrate Justin's graduation! The food was pretty good, but the views were amazing!

It was a quick trip and a quick visit, but it was definitely lots of fun!
