Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend was pretty busy. Saturday morning, JD and I went to our ward Easter Egg Hunt while Justin had to go to work. It was actually a lot of fun. It was at one of the Bishopbric's home, and they own a small almond orchard, so they hid all the eggs and candy there. The primary presidency started the day with some games, thank goodness because we were late. JD was less than interested in the games and played with some of the toys that were laying in the yard and with his soccer ball that we brought.

When the Easter Egg hunt started, JD still wasn't that excited. I kept asking him if he wanted to go get some candy, and he'd say "yea" but headed right back to the toys. Eventually I picked him up and took him into the orchard where he saw all the eggs and candy and was finally interested.

When Justin got home at 6 pm we left to go to the bay area and spent the night at his parents house. Dean and Maggie were there so JD was pretty excited when he saw his cousins. We went to church in the morning, and had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Once most of the eggs and candy were picked up, JD and Dean ended up playing soccer, which eventually led into tackling each other. Maggie sat there happily eating her eggs...

After the Easter Egg hunt, we left to see my parents, and then to visit my Grandma, and then to the Easter Dinner at Aunt Holly's. It was a busy day, but a fun Easter nonetheless!
