LA Trip

So in continuation from the last post, we went down to LA for our cute niece, Maggie, baby's blessing! :) After pictures, we gathered together as a family and went to eat at this yummy Mexican place (of course!) The next was a big adventure. Four of us, plus the two kids (we stole Dean from his parents) went to Venice beach for brunch, and went on a bike ride.

Our mission during this bike ride, was to find the Venice Canals. After asking many people for directions, including some cops, going up different streets, and then after almost giving up, we found the sign for the Canals on our way back to the beach. They were beautiful! We only walked along the Canals for a few minutes because it took us forever to find them. I wish we could've walked along them for longer, but it was time for the kiddos to take naps.

 

We were wiped after that! A few hours later, we went to see the Avengers! We absolutely loved it, and cannot wait to see it again! It makes me want to watch all the super hero movies that lead up to the movie all over again (except for the first Iron Man, I've watched that movie before I go to bed a zillion times. One of the best sleep aids for me).

Sunday was the whole reason we came! It was finally time for Maggie's baby blessing! Rachel (her mom) dressed her up in a cute little dress that had extra fabric from her wedding dress. It was beautiful! I wish I had known about that before. We then headed back home soon after some good food and visiting. Can't wit for another L.A. trip!
