My Internship

So far, I am loving my internship. It's a very relaxed environment, which was helpful for me getting back into the "workplace" again. What I will be doing this summer is planning a brand new event for The Ruth Bancroft Garden, as well as the marketing strategies behind it. The event that I am working on is a family event that will include games that are tied with learning objectives about water conservation, and some survival techniques, and a few others (still working on the smaller end of the details). The thing that I am most proud of is the poster I designed for the event. At first, I designed a rough draft that we were going to use, and I just couldn't stand the sight of it. Exhibit A:

 

Hideous, right? I stole those kids from the internet, and the rest of it was designed by me. After a couple days, I was inspired and I managed to design something I not only loved, but I designed every part of it...

I cannot wait until event day!
