Birthday, Baby, Doctors, and More.

I always feel like there's really nothing that important to blog about, but as unrecorded weeks go by, I realize there actually may be some stuff worth blogging about.

January 7th, I turned 22! In regards to that, thanks to my family I was able to get a new camera for my birthday! I've been wanting a digital SLR for a while now, but I knew there was no possible way we'd be able to afford one anytime soon. So, Justin came up with this idea to just get me gift cards/money in order to save up for one. I ended up finding a great deal and got a Canon Rebel XSI! So far, I'm loving it! Although, I haven't quite learned how to use the professional aspects of it, I definitely plan to. After all... what's the point of having a SLR if you're not going to try?

What made Justin and I laugh was I received seven $5 gift certificates in the mail for my birthday!!! It didn't say who it was from, but we had a hunch. After a bit of guessing, we learned that it was from Sean and Rachel!

I look forward to cashing all my gift cards in! :) Thanks everybody for your generosity! :) I'm loving my camera!

We've switched over to once a week visits to the doctor's office, and will be doing that until JD's finally born. What was pretty sweet is we got 2 free movie tickets, a medium pizza, and two drinks as a "Thank You For Your Business" from the doctor's office. We didn't waste any time in using it, and saw the Green Hornet. Great Movie!

Last night, we went with a friend Justin met from his mission and his wife to go see a Barbershop Festival. Justin was really excited about it the entire week. At first they had all these random groups that auditioned for the performance perform, and then a group called the "Perfect Gentlemen" finally performed! It was a lot of fun!

Justin also picked up a "side" job reffing basketball. Luckily it's something he enjoys doing, gets paid for it, and can do it on Saturdays. Yesterday he went from 9:30am til 2pm straight. Here's some pictures with my new camera:

The other day, our neighbor knocked on our door, Justin answered it and she thought that we had our baby already (I WISH!!!). He told her I was still "cooking," and that was pretty much all she wanted to know. 10 seconds later, we got another knock on the door and it turned out to be our neighbor again with a gift bag of goodies! :) We were surprised since we hardly ever talk to them. We say our "Hellos" every time we see them... but that's pretty much the extent of our conversation. It definitely made our day.

Well, here's our stash of a variety of diapers, and wipes to show that we are prepared for the mess we are about to endure.

And here's the 37 week mark! I'm soooo ready to be done, and to sleep a little more comfortably at night. I feel like JD may come early, but I'm pretty sure that's wishful thinking, and after I say this, he's going to be late. :( PLEASE COME SOON JD!!!!

WE'RE BEGGING YOU!!!!
