Weekend in California

It was wonderful to be home! I was so glad to be out of the snow... I'm already sick of it, and I know that's not a good thing, since it's barely just begun.

We got home at 8:00 Thanksgiving morning and spent the time preparing for dinner, hanging with the family, and the best part of all, eating all the yummy food that was made! Friday, Justin's family threw me a brunch baby shower. Eggs Benedict was served and it was so good! :) (Thanks Holly!) We received many cute and adorable clothes, blankets, toys, a tub, books, and a few other goodies. It made it seem that much more real that J.D. is actually coming soon.

Afterwards, we went out to San Francisco to see the Macy's windows, and holiday decorations in the city, and of course shopping! I love the city, and the craziness that is always occurring there. Then, we went to my parents house and spent the remainder of the evening with them. And then, went for an In-N-Out run! We really have missed In-N-Out...

Saturday, our last day in town, we visited Justin's grandparents, and then Justin and his Dad watched the BYU v. Utah game, while Kelly and I went out to see Morning Glory. Cute movie! :) Our flight was at 8pm, and we said goodbye to our family and California.

We spent the night in Salt Lake, and came back to Rexburg early this evening. It always makes me sad when I leave home after I've spent time with family, but I'm grateful that we even made it back home! I cannot wait until we are done with school, and hopefully soon after, we'll be back in California again (that's our hope at least). We are having a hard time coping with the weather here in Rexburg.

Thank you family for everything this weekend! We miss you already!
