There have been a couple happenings this week, more so for Justin. Yesterday was his last day of work at Western Watts (the place where he was calling people to take surveys). He was so happy to get out of there, and who could blame him. Most people quit that job after a week to a month on the job. It is not a job anybody wants to have, and so I'm so happy for him that he was offered another job at a place called Melaluca. Although, he has heard one of the most funniest jokes from one of the customers. She didn't want to take a survey, and she promised him it was nothing personal... in order to prove that fact, she told him this joke.
"Why aren't they building Walmarts in Iraq?"
::Place guess here::
"Because there are too many Targets."
Good one, yes? :) We thought so. Anyway, Justin starts his first day tomorrow at Melaluca. It's a company that sells wellness products, such as vitamins, laundry detergent, soap, etc. Apparently, we heard from his cousin Kate--who's husband is currently working for that company--that they get $80 a month to spend on their products! We're looking forward to that! :)
Justin also had the chance yesterday to do some color commentating for the BYU-I football games for BYU-I's webcast. I barely heard a little of it, due to the fact that the internet or something had a bad connection. But from what I heard, he sounded like he knew what he was doing. He should at least... since he is devout to watching football every chance he can! Although, I'm sure he'd love to do that kind of stuff for baseball as well.
As for me, I got free tickets to an Eric Bibb concert, since I work with the BYU-I production called Center Stage that has concerts every week or so, so Just and I took advantage. He's a blues artist, and he was pretty good.
The Preggo Diaries: I had my first belly rub the other night! It was kind of awkward at first... but I should be expecting more of that later on in the pregnancy. Justin and I have this app for our iPhones called "What to Expect When Your Expecting," and it gives you information on the pregnancy, and one day I read it and it was titled "Tips for Dealing with Tummy-Touchers." One part made me laugh, where they say to "turn the tables and give their belly a rub to see how they like it (especially effective with middle-aged men sporting paunches)." Oh, how I look forward to more Tummy-Touchers....
Here's a picture of my progress:
