This last Thursday, for my only class that I'm taking this semester, we had to attend this Business Summit. They have this every semester and encourage all Business and Communications majors to attend, and in the past I have never really found the interesting or applicable to my life. This time however, was a different experience. Maybe it's because I'm getting closer to graduation, married, about to have a baby, and have thought about maybe starting my own business (just thinking--never really serious about it) I found it to be so much more interesting this time around. Plus, one of the speakers I saw owns a baby store called ABC Baby Furniture down in Valencia California, and I thought it might be interesting.
I'm so glad I did, because I won a free baby blanket because I was pregnant! :) And this blanket is perfect, since Justin plans on turning our turning our son into a professional Athlete in hopes that he'll make us rich... I wish!
In addition to a baby blanket, Justin & I bought some socks, a jacket, and a onesie for the little guy. And thanks to my in-laws for the cute Halloween shirt and book (plus the other goodies inside our package)!
It makes me kind of sad that we won't be having a baby now during the holidays, but it's something I'm definetly looking forward to in years to come. Anyways, here's my progress. So this first picture was taken when I was about 2-3 months pregnant.
And here I am at 24 weeks. I definitely feel bigger, and am beginning to have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning... then again, it's always hard getting out of bed in the morning. I can't believe it's getting closer to delivery day! I'm getting more and more worried about it since I've heard a couple horror stories from people I've met. I'm hoping nothing awful will present itself on the day JD is born. 15 weeks to go!
